The sunflowers at dix park bloom each year during summertime, North Carolina TRP residents get enjoy a field full of Sunflowers for 2 weeks just before their harvest for biofuel. While in their full bloom, they make for a perfect photogenic place. You can read more about the event in the Dix Park Events .
I was really excited to photograph the sunflowers; however, I did not expect to see that many people when I arrived. I got some good photos during my brief moment there.
